As a third-generation colonizer with British, Scottish, and Quebecois heritage, I am grateful for the privilege to live and work on the unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation.  I have lived on Vancouver Island, the territory of the Coast Salish people, most of my life and have lots of family living here. My love for trees, mountains, and the oceans has led me to spend time adventuring outdoors. I worked implementing BC's clean government program for Island Health for ten years and have experience with strategic planning, risk assessments, adaptation planning, energy management, emissions reduction, and building project planning, development, and design.
