The university is organized by schools that group together various programs within a general theme. As such, one could say that there are no disciplines, disciplinary expertise is present within the schools but not within traditional departments. The university is relatively new (1995) and was born into the internet age and as a consequence an early adopter of technology for on-line learning. Programs are offered in a variety of modes from full to face to face to fully on-line with the majority offered by blending these two formats in a hybrid model.
