Maya Bay is one of Thailand\u2019s secluded Paradise beaches and is now forced to shut down due to over tourism. The coral reef and sea life have been disturbed dramatically ever since Leonardo DiCaprio shot the famous movie The Beach. I am so happy that the Thai government is trying to balance between profit and conservation to set the rules and shut down the beach for 4 months in a year to allow recovery; although I do wish the recovery process could be longer.
