While many people may think about tourism as visiting tourist attractions or tasting new cuisines, I believe tourism offers much more than that. I believe that tourism is about connection; it reflects in how we connect to each other and to destinations everywhere we go. As a tourism graduate, I strive for contributing my skills and knowledge to a healthy, sustainable tourism and hospitality industry that promotes the art of connecting the world through meaningful collaboration. As a traveler, I long for seeing the world through my own eyes, because “to travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries” – Aldous Huxley.Â
